Jeff is more than a lifelong resident of Honesdale. He is a dedicated worker, husband, father, local history lover, and volunteer. Jeff is a graduate of Honesdale High School. He and his wife Sue have dedicated themselves to putting Honesdale on the map and keeping its traditions alive. The happy couple are the former owners of the popular Trackside Grill. The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce named Jeff 2009 Business Person of the Year for his work at the Trackside Grill. Since selling the Grill in 2017 Jeff spends his time bringing visitors to Honesdale through group ticket sales for the Stourbridge Line and volunteering for anything related to Honesdale including help schedule interviews for the WVIA show “Our town Honesdale”. He is also the backbone of Historic Honesdale, LLC where you can take historic walking tours or learn Honesdale’s history.
Jeff served as the President for the Greater Honesdale Partnership for ten years and still sits on the Board today. He is extremely active on the Event Planning Committee for the GHP. The commitment Jeff has for GHP and Honesdale is incomparable and that’s why he is Volunteer of the Month.
