A scenic rail excursion and historic adventure walking the Heritage Trail in White Mills, including a tour of Sports Factory of NEPA, Tribute to Christy Mathewson and Eddie Murphy by local sports editor Kevin Edwards, lunch at Watson*s Deli (Hog Dog, chips, Coca Cola and apple pie), White Mills Firehouse museum, and Dorflinger Factory Museum including special exhibit *The Boys of Summer*, featuring the regulation size and weight crystal cut baseball bat that was given to local baseball hero Eddie Murphy when he was playing for the Philadelphia Athletics in the 1913 World Series. A great chance to reflect on our local history and one of Americas favorite past times. Each father will receive a copy of Wayne County Sports History 1871-1972. (Walking required for this tour)
