With events being canceled all over the area, The Greater Honesdale Partnership is proud to announce Harvest & Heritage Days Saturday, October 10th, and Sunday, October 11th is on! Sponsored by President Circle sponsors, Dime Bank, Honesdale National Bank and Wayne Bank, Platinum sponsor, the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1858, and Bronze Sponsor, Cribbs Bed & Breakfast.

Harvest and Heritage Days may look a little different this year but the Events Committee has guaranteed there is still plenty to do while visiting Honesdale’s thriving downtown. Start your morning wandering local boutique shops, tasting fine olive oils and balsamic vinegar, and hunting upscale consignment furniture and couture clothing stores. Take the kids for a blacksmith demonstration located at R3 Hardware and a chainsaw woodcarver at Scarfalloto’s Townhouse Diner Restaurant. Hayrides will be available from 11-4 PM. Hayride tickets will only be sold online and timed for social distancing. The hayride will be available for groups of 5 or 10. So get your group together and reserve your private ride. You can meet the wagon on Saturday and Sunday at the corners of Main and 7th Streets. All you need is a copy of the ticket on your phone. Tickets can be purchased up to 15 minutes before your ride.
