Encore Outdoor Continues Expansion into Pike County Encore Outdoor LLC Secures Management of 3 More Static Billboards in Milford Township Encore Outdoor LLC announces the management of three highly visible static billboards in Milford Township. Two billboards, 1O' x 16' and 1O' x 20' are located on Route 6/209 between Delaware Valley High School and Milford Chrysler. The third, a 8' x 24' billboard, is located on Route 6, just west of the 1-84, Exit 46 interchange. All face traffic traveling to Milford. These 3 billboards are in addition to Encore's 4 static billboard faces on Route 6/209 in the township.   "Our continued growth in Pike County is a huge benefit to our customer base," states Glenn Khoury, General Manager and Co-Owner of Encore. "By adding these affordable locations, we now offer more outdoor advertising in one of the busiest areas of Pike County. These routes are heavily traveled by residents, second homeowners and vacationers, alike."

Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting Held A Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting was held on October 20 for Mount Pleasant Herbery, located at 1023 Main Street, Honesdale.The shop is the place to go for handmade soaps, tea and other items made from herbs grown locally in Wayne County. Soup ‘R Chili Taste-off Winners Announced

2016 Harvest & Heritage Days Soup 'R Chili Taste-off Winners Announced! The Harvest & Heritage Days 11th annual Taste-off was held this past weekend. This year’s taste off was Soup ‘R Chili and a huge success. This year’s contestants in the soup category were: Elite Martial Arts Istitute – Knockout Cheeseburger; The Gravity Inn – Butternut Squash and Seafood Bisque; MB’s Shear Expressions – Pumpkin Pie; Twisted Rail Tavern – Crab Bisque and VFW Post 531 – Pop’s Chowda. In the chili category we had: Hose Co. #1 – The Big Burn; Twisted Rail Tavern – Vegetarian and VFW Post 531 – Combat. The three distinguished judges this year were Jon Fritz, Wendell Kay and Sandra Grandinetti. Their decision for first place winner in the Best Presentation to the Judges category was Elite Martial Arts institute, who served their soup in a beautiful fall floral display.
